WILSON

If I say chainsaws & rabid wolves and you think of Halloween, Wilson may not be for you. This hard rock/metal band from Detroit/East Lansing has some of the coolest guys I have ever had the pleasant surprise of chatting with. Rocking out, now that is a different story. For the past few years Wilson has transformed shows into parties, and concerts into riots.
They have shared stages with alike bands of Every Time I Die, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Valient Thorr, Escape the Fate, and Between the Buried and Me. Wilson has not only held their own, but have raised the bar for how much fun you can have watching live music. No matter what type of music you like, if you see them at a show you are bound to at least tap your foot.
The band consists of five dudes (using that term very loosely) with a brutal rhythm section and fret-board use of a wizard that bring together the best parts of metal and hook it into heavy straight-up rock n' roll. Don't be surprised if you see the extreme, gnarly dude in the back of the bar start dancing like a little girl on christmas morning when the music starts. Extreme demand from a large and still growing fan base has sold out two pressings of their debut Ep, "Standing on the Reel".
They have a new album in the works and a never ending tour schedule. If you are ready to party check out Wilson at www.wilsonrock.bandcamp.com.

Chiodos Bros!?

Ever heard of Chiodos? They are a post-hardcore band originally settled in Davison, Michigan. They were formed in 2001 under the name "The Chiodos Bros" originally named after some filmmakers. They released three EP's before there debut album, All's Well That Ends Well. It was released in 2005 and reached number three on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. After that they released there next album called, Bone Palace Ballet. After several tours and a spot on main stage at the Van's Warped tour they announced that they had to "let go" of frontman Craig Owens. After some lineup changes last winter the band started to record there third record. It was released and titled, Illuminaudio. The current lineup includes Pat McManaman (rhythm guitar), Bradley Bell (keyboard), Matt Goddard (bass guitar), Jason Hale (lead guitar), Brandon Bolmer (lead vocals), and Tanner Wayne (drums).
